Maintaining and improving lake and pond water quality is a great challenge. Poor water quality results from inorganic and organic pollutant build-up. Fertilizer run-off increases nitrogen and phosphorous levels causing algae blooms. Algae reduction and algae removal are the most common solutions for excess inorganic nutrients.
Organic pollutants include; dead leaves, fish and wildlife waste, & partially treated sewage. Over time these pollutants form an anaerobic sludge blanket. The sludge blanket builds and depletes oxygen in the lake or pond, causing odors and potential algae blooms. Lack of oxygen makes natural algae removal/algae reduction impossible.

As an industry leader, GES provides safe, environmentally friendly solutions for water quality problems. GES technology is based on bio-augmentation which adds safe, naturally occurring bacteria to water to reduce pollution and restore lakes and ponds to their natural balance.
Algae Reduction Leads to Algae Removal…
To restore a lake or pond to its natural beauty, both inorganic (nitrogen and phosphorous) and organic pollutants must be reduced. The LLMO System performs both functions. The removal of inorganic nutrients leads to algae reduction and in some cases complete algae removal. LLMO contains the right mix of natural bacteria to degrade the most complex organic build-up found in lakes and ponds.
The LLMO System is a patented process for activating safe, natural bacteria on-site to improve water quality, promote algae reduction, algae removal and remove organic build-up. A Delivery System is used with LLMO products to activate bacteria on-site. Without on-site bacterial activation, bacteria would not be active or numerous enough to get the job done economically. Depending on the configuration, a Batch Delivery or Continuous Delivery system is used.
The GES lake and pond restoration system may also be used without the ABI unit in small decorative ponds and aquaria. Consult GES for rates.
